Where can I get a Siberian Husky in NW Ohio?

I am IN LOVE with the beautiful dog, but I can’t seem to find one in my area. I have tried the pet finder, but most are too far and not very trust worthy. Can anyone help?
Not trust worthy~ I have had some breeders ask to have money sent, then they will send the dog for a very small amount of money.
this is our second husky, we lost our first and the breeder is MIA. We also have 2 small children who did GREAT with Scout.

What do you mean “not very trustworthy”???

Try Northwest Ohio Siberian Rescue. They are listed on the Siberian Husky Club of America’s rescue list.

Most of the rescue groups on petfinder are more trustworthy than a breeder – they take discarded dogs and get them vetted, including spay/neuter, heartworm test, and shots. They also temperament test the dogs, which is very important with intelligent breeds like the husky. It’s true that county animal controls listed on petfinder don’t have the time or staff to evaluate the dogs, but I wouldn’t say they are not trustworthy – just overwhelmed by all the owner giveups and strays. Try petfinder again, or find a good breeder from your local AKC club or husky club. Look on http://www.petorphans.com, its rescue list is for the SE, but you can contact the husky rescuers on it to see if they have a nice dog, or know of a rescuer in your area.

HUSKY ARE DOMINANT DOGS THAT NEED EXPERIENCED HANDLERS, THEY ARE TOO DOMINANT FOR 1ST TIME OWNERS& TOO DOMINANT TO LIVE WITH CHILDREN, THEY NEED A 6FEET FENCE AND LARGE YARD.

Animals Shelters are the BEST PLACE
Make sure you choose a breed suited to your lifestyle, don’t make your choose on the cute factor, fluffy factor, breed alone or colour.don’t buy from a petstore.

NEVER BUY FROM A PETSTORE-these apply to cats too
