What Is The Relationship Between A Parrot Fish And A Cichlid?
By crittercare in Birds on June 7th, 2009
I searched pictures of parrot fish on google, and all them read
parrot fish-cichlid… I’m confused… Is that just another name for a parrot fish?? Maybe it’s just how the picture is named, or is it something else??
Thank-you!!

There are two cichlids called parrots – the true parrot cichlid, Hoplarchus psittacus and the horribly deformed, and often mutilated and dyed, hybrid cichlids often sold as blood parrots. http://cichlidresearch.com/parrot.html
