tribute to alex the amazing parrot
By crittercare in Birds on November 15th, 2009
memorial for alex an outstanding and wonderful bird. Alex’s spectacular abilities were sensationalized in the news media, as though it were a talking parrot act. That obscured the significance of the studies, which is why “The Alex Studies” is important…Dr Irene Pepperberg has done groundbreaking experiments, and bringing them together in a panoramic view is a great service… anyone wishing to donate to the alex foundation or wishing to buy an alex memorial piece please follow this link …

This is so sad. I can’t stop crying.
I love parrots. I would be so sad if my parrot is not with me anymore.

bananatree94, how are you doing? This is very hard what has happened to you–BUT,,,,,there are so many animals/birds alive that need love—please reach out again and know from the start that none of us onlyhave the number of days that God allows….we must accept it and move on. Give all that love you have to another dear animal. Bless you and heal quickly! Then get right back out there again with your love!
