  5. standbyme5795 says:

comet goldfish for one shouldnt be mixed with the fancy type double tailed goldfish because they will outcompete them for food. he’s gonna mess around with your moor so you need to either move them out or get a tank divider so you can keep them. try to make sure you have a big enough aquarium for them because that causes stress for the fish which would also make them feel crowded. how many gallons do they live in? also theres no such thing as a lemon goldfish

  6. Bizzz2468 says:

Because your comets are bullies and are faster than him. Happened with my fish too. All you can do is seperate them. They are NOT spawning because common and fancy goldfish do not spawn . If, so very rarely. It is normal but eventually your fmoore wil ldie so i recomend moving him soon. good luck!

  7. EdwardLegonardo says:

To be honest if you look around the pet shops and aquatics specialist and go when they have their new deliveries you can pick up a perfect fish like that for about £10- £30 [at that size]. Although British shops are quite poor in their cold water selection :/ But you really have to look and it may take a long time. But, anyways, I think the only danger in buying fish like that is that it’s pure luck if it lives or not and if it dies there goes a beautiful fish and all your money D:

Hi, im wondering if somebody can help me, i have a comet goldfish and lemon goldfish and they chase my black moor around my tank, constantly everyday. My black moor is my favourite and im worried it may die because of stress. Is it normal for fish to do this or are they aggressive towards my moor. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  15. cyberfish104 says:

well atleast sell it for 20-50$ :P i can get on of those in a pet shop for 15$

  16. Ni83co says:

yeah tohose fish you buy are a way different clas than this ones, this Oranda is word at least 150 euros.
Look at the collor, the wen(headgrowt) is perfeckt, fins are niclet flowing and same lenght, nice patron, bleu collor, good nalance in the water, this is no 5 or 10 dollar fish.

  17. Sean0fenton says:

  21. CanadiaNecro1 says:

They have to have symmetrical scales, no missing scales, smooth fins, no spots unless its calico, and generally no irregularities to be show quality. Anyone know the exact criteria?

  22. CanadiaNecro1 says:

Well he wasnt a larva or anything but I fed him the golfish flake food since the pellets were too big for him. When he got bigger switched to pellets.

  23. vitaminaqua says:

they are show quality. Meaning people enter them in shows and win prizes often. A fish like this would never be seen at Petsmart.

  24. blastbeatsftw85 says:

what do you feed the baby ones?

  25. CanadiaNecro1 says:

I had a black moor that I bought from Petsmart that grew to 7 inches. Half of its body was the tail that keeps getting longer with age. He was tiny when I bought him.
