I tears my heart out to see all these beautiful and intelligent birds so horribly hurt. I can’t understand why the supposed most intelligent – humans – are so very stupid. Or is it that they just don’t care? I’m so glad there are people like FFF that can come to their rescue. I am 210 miles away. I would love to be able to come and visit and donate time. I am on disability and could not afford a hotel room. Please tell all the birds that ‘Auntie Ann’ is thinking of them.

parrots take alot of your time and commitment. I found that out the hard way. ):

  5. gkurdina says:

People keep saying that, because they want to inform other people that there are too many abused birds in fosters, sanctuaries and so on. It is better to adopt a bird from a foster.

  6. wilmaohman says:

too bad there is not more people who want to adopt these beautiful birds.
to the people who say these birds should be flying free.any creature born into captivity wouldn’t know how to survive in the wild.i saw a beautiful budgie eating out of my birdfeeder one morning.his flight feathers had been clipped.he could still fly,as they grew out he flew higher.a few weeks later i saw him shaking uncontrollably,i tried to save him.2 days later he disappeared.he became sick and died living in the wild

  9. Music007LOVER says:

how can someone give me bad feed back… wouldnt u much rather a world where we donrt damage the enviroment so them beautifull birds can fly free thats what they really wanna do… and as a bird lover nothing would make me more happy than to see them flying free with all of there own kind and not locked in a cage cause that sad… come on guy give me the thumbs up.. ur heartless if u dont!!!

  10. savvymongeral says:

Bless you RozzieRox for opening your heart to take in a sweetie like this!

  11. ladyparrotluvr says:

The problem with that thought is… Do you know how endangered these parrots are? Yes, it would be wonderful to see them flying free, but if people keep destroying the environment then the ONLY place to find these parrots (& countless other species) will be in captivity.

  12. MuttonMushi says:

I’ve had my parrot for 1 1/2 to 2 years now and he’s been a blessing! Sure, he’s high maintenance, but he contributes far more to my home than I ever imagined he would. He is a vital member of my family.

  13. Music007LOVER says:

thats so sad to see all these animals locked up in a cage… if you loved them that much you would set them free!! leave these beautiful animals in the wild….

  14. Goralka08 says:

Amo a todos los animales del mundo… y si son loros los amo màs.
Me duele mucho ver el sufrimiento. Tambièn me duele el encierro al que los sometemos. No podemos negar que son aves prodigiosas.
