i have an alexandrine which is 10 months and a ring neck which is 10 weeks. the same thing happens they fight over the same piece of food but the ring neck always wins
yes they can interbreed, because they are from the same species, psttacula.
its not good to breed them because its 2 different races, they look almost the same but are much different in personality.
i love these asiatic birds, and have many of the different races, alexandrines, rignecks, plumheaded parakeets, derbyan parakeets, moustasched parakeet etc. great and lovely asiatic birds.
i have seen many hybrid rigneck alexandrines, they look like alexandrines but smaller in body and shape.
Can you breed and Alexandrine parrot with a indian ringneck i want to see how would the babies come !!! can somebody please tell me is there anybody that knows for sure !!!! thxs btw great video
no no they wont fight .. they are compatible pets .. may be a light fight for one or two days but then they will adjust and surely love each others
