I bought this product mainly to keep my cat in during storms. I live in the Midwest and we have so many storm alerts during the spring and summer where I often need to go to my basement. Unfortunately I can’t block off the unfinished crawl space and don’t want my cat venturing there, so I bought this so that I can keep my cat safe and comfortable while we wait out the storm. It’s very roomy and because my cat is declawed he can’t scratch the mesh surrounding the playpen. It has a travel case and there is virtually no set up – just take it out of the travel bag and it practually sets itself up. I bought the leopard print and it’s really great looking. Though my cat is an indoor cat, I may take him outside in this playpen because there are four stakes included for use in grass. I ordered the Pet Travel Play Yard for a kitten that we rescued, I had hoped the Play Yard would arrive in a day or two as stated in the shipping information but it took well over a week. There is no option from the merchant, even when manually contacting them, to hurry the order on its way.
Other than that issue it has been a godsend. We have had to foster several of the kittens litter mates and this yard has helped immensely. It is durable, the first cat we rescued loves to run across the top and sleep there. (granted she is only 4 pounds) The top access helps with cleaning and the side flaps have a large enough access hole that a crate can be pushed up against it to get animals out.
Only one real issue is the zippers do not like going around corners and can be a bit difficult to move around the sharp bottom edges smoothly and quickly. If you are dealing with a frightened or tramatized animal, this can be a highly annoying problem.
Easy to clean and flattens down to nothing. Pops up to full size in seconds, I was truely amazed.

A great play pen for your pet! I bought this for my sister’s miniature pitbull, it makes a great play pen for him. He loves going inside, he enjoys the space it provides. =)
