Dan, you didn’t offend at all. We use a translator for foreign languages and when foul language is used we have to remove them. I just don’t understand why people feel the need to curse on here sometimes. We like this to be a family friendly site.
Best wishes!

It’s more like the parrot’s scratching the cat’s chin for him XD

It was Slovenian and filthy language was used. We don’t care for that on our site.

I forgot all about you and this video until I happened upon it on Pawnation credited to you. These things unfortunately make many people think this is a normal situation and they can let their cats and birds be together, often with disastrous results. It is far more complicated than a cute video. I appreciate that you have modified your behavior and I truly only had concern for your bird. Sorry if my comment was “over the top” but you will just have to trust my intent was good. Bye.

Since you told me about that site, I went to each video posted and asked that they remove the videos. I had never heard of that site prior to you mentioning it. Thank you. I don’t know how people steal videos but it happens too much. You have commented about your concerns…and I ask you…have you seen anything that is dangerous since you posted? No, you see Coco with me or in his new home. I appreciate the concern, but we don’t mix them anymore. You are over the top with some of your comments.

Funny that they credit this video being posted to you then. I don’t question your love for them, just your knowledge of what is truly dangerous behavior. Maybe you will be lucky and it won’t be an issue, but if your bird contracts the pasteurella bacteria, you cannot say you weren’t aware of the risk.

wiw – like a human – his soft craws.

That’s creepy it looks like your parrot wants to your cat

We didn’t teach him anything. We are his 3rd owners and I guess he learned this behavior prior to us. He is just a very curious bird. Probably typical of U2’s.

Be sure to look at our Mr. Hyde video. Cockatoos can be EXTREMELY loud. Beware it is not always a beautiful situation.
11/19/2009 at 4:43 pm
That is truly what makes this so special. Many people have made that similar comment.
11/19/2009 at 5:37 pm
haha, I thought the same thing. I love it though, this makes me want to get a cockatoo

They have accomplished what many people cannot. Getting along with someone different from you. Way to go!
11/19/2009 at 8:01 pm
Extraordinary! They really like each other! The bird is groom the cat, and the cat was actively rubbing the sides of its face on the claw. That is scent marking “claiming” the bird as one of its own. Very impressive.
They genuinely seem to have affection for each other. Cross-species bonding like that is always fascinating. IT shows that animals communicate in energy and body language in ways we humans lost perception of a long time ago and only through study are re-learning.

LOL the parrot has a pervert look., specially with the way it touches the cat. But it’s a great vid, really a rare one i think.
