I just got a lovebird in addition to my 3 budgies and 1 linnie, so far the lovebird seems very friendly and they all get along just fine. Will keep them seperate when I am not supervising though. Nice video!

That’s a very nice lovebird, because typically lovebirds and budgies are a terrible combination. Lovebird’s can do serious damage.

ooohh! so cute! i used to have a lovebird male named diego and a parakeet female named sweetie and they did the same thing!…it brings back heart warming memories

Back yet again, Plus these are American variety speciemens. I have a 15yr old English Budgie, which is the larger “exhibition” variety that the british use in show fashion. These birds are not your typical 6 or 7in store bought parakeet. There more like 9in girthier monsters in comparison!!! That said, when my English is out of her cage, she also knows, being larger than my two bonded peachies, to keep her distance from them. All this said, its just incredible there getting along like this……

Back again, with more commentary….After reviewing this video again and again, its quite apparent the Peach-Faced Lovie, has replaced his own counterpart mate, in this budgie. Its got to be, one of the LARGEST peachies i’ve ever seen. The poor blue juvenile, on the other hand, doesn’t stand a chance bonding with the yellow-green adult keet, so long as the peachie is around. For its own safety, and the love of god, get that bird AWAY from that possessive lovebird before some damage is done!!!

Yeah, fer real! Lovebirds are possessive and will hunt down it’s competition until it is GONE! My fischer got into fights with one of my budgies and they always ended up bloody. Not a pretty sight. I keep them apart since then.
