How do I put my fancy green cheek conure to sleep if he’s afraid of fireworks?

My fancy green cheek conure is currently loose he sleeps covered up in a comfterable blanket and box but on July 4 2009 he hears fireworks and just jumps out of his bed and comes running to where were sleeping.How o i solve this problem?

Just spend time with him when the fireworks are going, and calm him after they are done. If you keep him company (And hold him, cuddle him, depending on level of training/people friendlyness) during fireworks he may learn to ignore or even like them.

you may want to put his box in the quietest room in your house, or in your room. you could try covering his box with a blanket to keep the sound from being as loud for him
