depends on the dog, belt collar worked with my rottie its not about the collar its about the technique used in training..

  2. i use a halti on my ridgeback/mastiff x. he has dog aggression problems. i used it one day, and except for 1 set back hasn’t needed it since. he’s been fine for 2 yrs.

Th ehead collar works but my dog lays down and refuses to move she hates it so much. I just got the gentle leader and it works great without pulling on the head or throat at all.

  4. Halti collar is the best out of the two, I have both, and the Halti works better.. I think it’s all in the design of it all!

I have used Halties and Gentle Leaders and they both worked the same way. The Halti was a bit more complicated to use, but they both worked well for me until the puppy grew out of it.

  6. head collars dont work! the dogs first have to get used to them which is basically impossible. get the halti harness. it has no getting used to it down time. and it works by limiting front leg movement. it interupts his walking. my doberman used to pull like a crazed sled dog before i got this. but after a few days training, he was fine. put it on and every time he pulls or walks ahead, pull him right back into place saying heel. soon enough he will stop.

  7. Neither of these are “training” collars. You may fix the problem while it’s on, but if your dog figures out that you only have control while it’s on then you’re worse off than when you started.

Teach your dog to walk at heel properly.
