try the “watch me” command the way you teach it is you take a piece of food and put it up by your eye and say the command once you teach this you should beable to just say “watch me” and they will focus on you instead of the food or frizbee

You asked for suggestions, and I realize that you’re famous now… But I wanted to suggest just in case you still wanted suggestions! I have a disc crazy Aussie, and we recently adopted another one who I’m having trouble developing bite and tug stuff. He likes the frisbee, very much. And he’s catching more and more the more we work, but his bite and tug is lacking and so I’d LOVE to see how you build drive in your dogs! I see all 3 of your shown dogs are disc dogs. Did they all come that way?

  21. brcoo786 says:

I love how you make things seem simple, it is very motivating when working with my pets.

im from brazil and im actually searching for the most informationa as possible to live in harmony with your dog! u r amazing at it!

  23. KatrinaJoyce91 says:

Zak, man, I’m a huge fan of your work with dogs, and especially with your 3 Border Collies. Amazing video, and it’s soo simple! I’ve always loved Border Collies for their affinity to learn, and their sharpness. Not to drag down any other breed, but these dogs are just magnificent. =]

  24. MamaJacqueroo says:

I adopted a little homeless dachsy about a year ago. I love him! Since I have had him he has always ‘sit pretty’. I never taught him to or ask him to. He was either taught it earlier in life or it is a natural thing for him. I think he is going to be easy to teach this to. I have another wonderful mutt that is very smart and I am going to start working with both of them nowe. Thank you for these great lessons!
