I love the cat playing the piano but I believe this is a triumph for the composer who took what were random piano notes and turned it into something beautiful. I don’t doubt that Nora has an ear after living with a piano teacher for many years. but my hat is off to the composer

    Bravo!

This is the perfect example of how humans can communicate with their pets. First: Shut up and listen. They have much to say, just like us, in their own way. Second: Acknowledge this any way you can. I actually make a purring sound when my kitty sleeps next to me. Makes her feel safe. She purrs right back! I am a musician, and recognize the phrasing this kitty did. Even though it was edited, it stands just the same. She’s just a kitty! The teamwork is exceptional!!! I SO LOVE THIS!

    That cat is effing brilliant.

  6. msrosepaws says:

But the composer did this to showcase the cat. That’s why the video of Nora plays in the background. It’s ALL about the cat! After all, she is pretty amazing… MY cats merely jump up and walk across the keys. She actually sits on the bench like a person and appears to give some thought, love and effort to what she is doing.
