Can I give my 5 month old kitty a dog treat?

The dog treat is shaped like a bone.

I ordered pet medication for my cat. The pet medication is for his ear mites. I just opened the box where the medication came in. They also sent a dog treat shaped like a bone, but, my cat is not a dog. Can I give my cat that dog treat, or, should I just throw it away?

You can give it to some one that has a dog or just throw it away

Why don’t you just give it to someone who has a dog?

It probably won’t hurt the cat. I have both kittens and a dog. I was feeding the dog one day, and dropped a few pieces on the floor and the one kitten ran in and started eating the food. She is still fine. Or u could save it for someone elses dog, your choice

    Throw it away please.
Dog treats are not intented for cats, they are shaped and made harder for dog’s more powerful chewing cabability. Your kitten may accidently swallow it, broke a tooth while chewing, vet bill will be an unneccessary expenses if this happens, it’s just not worth taking the chances.
