Some of the various species include Shubunkin, Black Moors, Common, and Comet. This article will discuss some of the different types of goldfish. CommonCommon goldfish are very hardy, so they’re excellent for beginners. You can keep them in an aquarium or in a backyard pond. They like to live with other find of their kind. Commons usually grow between 12 and 14 inches. CometsLike Commons, these fish are also very hardy. You can keep them in backyard ponds too. They have long, slender bodies and a long single tail fin. They are very fast swimmers, so you need to provide them a lot of space. Comets are also very sociable, so you should keep them with other fish. Black MoorsThere are also Black Moor goldfish. Unlike their golden counterparts, these fish are usually black. However, some have been bred to be other colors. To further stand out from more common types of goldfish, they also have egg shaped bodies and telescope eyes. ShubunkinShubunkins are also easy for beginners to keep. They are long, slender, and very fast swimmers. They will also grow to be large fish, so you need to provide an aquarium large enough for them to live comfortably. Bubble EyeBubble Eyes are one of the most awkward-looking types of goldfish. They have large eyes that point up towards the sky. They also have large sacks under their eyes. The sacks are damaged very easily, so you need to ensure the aquarium doesn’t have anything that can hurt them.
